Windsurfing and Kitesurfing in Mazzara del Vallo: weather conditions and ideal spot for water sports

“Puzziteddu” is a fantastic wave / freestyle spot that allows you to go out with almost any wind direction. A short beach, shallow water and no shore breaks make it easy to get into the water. Poniente and Mistral offer the best conditions, with a long, smooth and load-bearing wave that is excellent for both jumping and surfing front-side, right tack. The Libeccio instead enters side-on and raises a high wave even a tree complicating the exit a bit. With Levante and Scirocco we move 300 meters downwind, in the Gulf of Kartibubbo, where the side-off wind cleans and lengthens the waves, on port tack.
