Description
Founded in 1985 thanks to the passion and initiative of a group of sailors with the aim of promoting the sport of sailing, the Nauticlub Castelfusano Amateur Sports Association has become one of the most important Initiation Centers for Coni sport.
The professionalism and passion of the staff of federal instructors characterize it as one of the best sailing schools in Italy. Very good helmsmen have come out of it who give prestige to the Club and to Italian sailing by winning Italian, European and world titles in every class and category.
Here Gabrio Zandonà began to take his "first steps", Olympian in Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio 2016 in the 470 class, winner of the World Championship in 2003.
The club pays particular attention to young people from 9 to 20 years old and today it is present on all the regatta fields with an Optimist competitive team and other young athletes who compete in the Laser class. There is also a large fleet of Techno 293 youth sailboards that carry out sporting activities for the colors of the Nauticlub Castelfusano Amateur Sports Association.
