Lake Iseo Pilzone

Lago D'Iseo Pilzone was founded in 23 AD by Roman nobles who had some villas built for their summer holidays. These villas were destroyed by the Lombards. The small lakeside center of Pilzone historically belonged to the Iseo square. It was born as a small village (the village of Pulcion), in medieval times, and takes its name from the nobleman who ruled over the fields in the area.
