Components of a Vedetta Webcam

  • Panoramic IP Camera: HD or 4K wide-angle optics, designed for continuous day/night viewing.
  • Solar panel and battery: autonomous power supply even in areas not served by the electricity grid.
  • 4G/5G router or wired connection: constant data transmission on mobile or ADSL/fiber network.
  • Windshield Bracket: Weatherproof construction for consistently stable framing.
  • Lookout Server: cloud system that receives and publishes images in real time on the site or on partner platforms.

How the installation works

  1. Choice of panoramic point: the most suitable location for visual coverage and stability is identified.
  2. Assembly of the structure: The webcam is fixed on a pole, terrace or existing support.
  3. Low Energy Consumption: Thanks to the latest generation hardware and high-performance software, energy consumption is reduced to a few watts.
  4. Poe Power Supply: power supply via the network cable.
  5. Self-powered: via solar panel and internal battery for continuous operation.
  6. Plug & Play Connection: the webcam is connected via a Pre-configured Microtik modem which automatically connects to the Cloud VPN Vedetta. No public IP or technical configurations are required from the user.
  7. Remote Support: Our technician guides you through the activation by phone step by step and completes the configuration remotely.
